Internet Explorer, Toolsmenu, Internet Options, Advanced tab, Make sure
you have enabled HTTP 1.1 and SSL 3.0

You may also need to enable cookies on some sites. Check the Security
tab, Custom settings, or reset the slider to Medium.

Check your firewall settings.

Have you just installed Service Pack 2?

I had this problem so removed SP2: all was fine. REinstalled SP" - same
problem. Uninstlaled it again- everything fine.

No problems here. Maybe something in IE security settings.
