can anyone tell me how to retrieve my online icon (2 little monitor screens)
that sit on the toolbar. it's disappeared!

start>control panel>network connections>right click the connection you
are using and choose properties,and on the general tab make sure there
is a tick in the "show icon in notification area when connected".
