Wanadoo Homepage

Hi all
I have a problem with Wanadoo UK Homepage not showing correctly, everthing
is down the left side of the page and there is 4 rows of what seams to be
bubbles, boxes, bricks & lifebelts graphics accross the page just down from
the top of the page.
I hope someone can help me get the webpage showing correcly.

I am running WinXP updated to SP-2

Sounds as though you've switched off Javascript - either in your
browser or in your firewall.

(NB M$ don't have any "Javascript On/Off" settings - they call it
"active scripting.")

My dozy computer has done the same thing. I'm running Symantic (Norton)
Internet Security 2004 on Windows XP - can somebody please tell me how to
reset the damned thing as i'm loosing several pages.

Others, encountering what sounds like the same problem (in another
fs ng - I forget which) appear to have solved it by enabling popups
in IE's new pop-up blocker, accessing the page, and then
re-disabling popups, after which it works OK.

No, doesn't make sense to me, either, but worth a try.

This will probably help someone fathom out the problem - or not. I've just
gone in the Wanadoo site on the following link:
http://www.wanadoo.co.uk/help/ and I can access everything on the site. With
the exception of the Homepage, which still comes up with its weird graphics
and no homepage as such.

I had the same problem about a week ago which I put on
freeserve.help.windows.misc

This worked for me
Pop ups were blocked on Norton Firewall(2004)

and IE...Enabled pop ups on both and page displayed ok.
I have now blocked pop ups again and page is still displaying correctly.

Still working ok

Someone suggested using "https" ipo "http" in the website address. It worked
for me. Don't ask me why !
