Wanadoo Home Page -Explorer 6.0 . XP Home.

Below the toolbars there is a wide red band stretching right across the
page.
On the left side is shown "[W]Wanadoo"motif with current date under.
In the middle of this red band I have a long white oblong with the words "
You are not authorised to view this page"
I have no problem with viewing anything.
Just find this message annoying, it has only appeared recently
Can it be removed?.

Does it always show it?

That's the position of an advertising banner, so I suspect that is what it
is. Try clicking on it.

Hi! Max,
No it's not constant,appears erratically.
I have just re-connected and the offending area is now a clear white oblong
(on my 17" screen looks about 1" deep and all across.)
No effect when clicking on it.
Would my various "pop-up" blockers be responsible?
I would like to clear the whole "Wanadoo" band..
Any ideas?

Ha! One minute later I go back to the Wanadoo Home page and there it is
"You are not authorised to view this page" message in the same place.

I think it may be something in your IE security settings unless you have
some kind of special blocking software. The advert isn't a popup, it's
either an embedded graphic or an embedded flash object, which actually lives
on the advertiser's server (doubleclick something). You could try right
clicking on it and see what you get in the menu.
